Avitus Group supports our veterans and the Rocky Mountain Honor Flight. We’ve sent several veterans on the Rocky Mountain Honor Flight and we’re challenging the Colorado business community to do the same. If we all do a little, we can help a lot.

The Rocky Mountain Honor Flight gives World War II veterans the opportunity to visit the National WWII Memorial in Washington DC. This experience is free to WWII veterans and veterans of other wars and conflicts. The Rocky Mountain Honor Flight also gives businesses and individuals a chance to get involved in several ways: volunteering as a guardian on an upcoming flight, meeting at DIA for the welcome home ceremony to welcome our veterans back to Colorado and via mail call where employees, individuals and family members write personal notes to our veterans as way to say thank you. Avitus Group invites the business community to join us at DIA for the next flight as we welcome home our American heroes. Please see the schedule here.

The WWII memorial, dedicated in 2004, was built to honor the service and sacrifice of 16,000,000 Americans during WWII. It is estimated that 1,200,000 WWII vets are still alive today.
