Guider of Teenager
For me, work is like doing the daily crossword puzzle in the newspaper. Most days you know all the answers. But isn’t it a fun challenge when you have to learn something new to help complete the puzzle?!
Volunteering helps me be part of my community and surround myself with the people who are just as passionate about it as I am. We very much care about the less fortunate, and I think everyone should feel like an important part of the community, deserving of basic human needs. And we have many volunteer programs where we are able to work in the parks cleaning trash, pulling weeds, planting trees and generally keeping Seattle evergreen.
As Wayne Dyer said: “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” To me, this can only be obtained through the love of growth.
On the Horizon
I want to become a Certified Payroll Specialist. I also welcome the opportunity to help others find what inspires them and to help them pinpoint their personal strengths.
